Join us for an evening with author and historian Damon Fordham, who will share stories and folk tales of Charleston’s African American past. Born in Spartanburg, SC, Fordham received his master’s degree in history from the College of Charleston and the Citadel, and his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina at Columbia. He currently teaches United States and African-American History at the Citadel as well as Charleston Southern University, and has taught U.S. History and African-American Studies at the College of Charleston. This event is free and open to the public.
